I realized that bullying never has to do with you. It’s the bully who’s insecure.

There's this callous and insubordinate behaviour I noticed with Netizens (internet users) who are Nigerians. This nonsensical behaviour sometimes make me ashamed of identifying as a Nigerian.
It's the way some Nigerians are so mean and bully other internet users. I mean, I don't seem to figure out how we got here. Whatever needs to be done to curtail this cruel behaviour should be done, apart from baning twitter of course! Maybe a re-orientation? I don't know! Just anything!

Regrettably, some Nigerian netizens will type anything just to bring you down and now the phrase , ‘social media is not for weak people’ has been commonised. So people are afraid to go on social media because of fear of being ‘dragged’ or ‘cooked’. Now my question is, who is social media for? Villains? Key pad warriors or who?
If I'm soft-spoken and soft -hearted I cannot be on social media?
Violence everywhere especially from those who have remained faceless.
I remember someone called me a local fowl one time for using a tea spoon to take cappuccino. Really? local fowl in tech? I blocked the person immediately but for how long will we keep blocking?

If you’re insulting people on the internet, you must be ugly on the inside.” — Phil Lester

Dear Nigerian Netizens, I understand that things are tough, there’s no money on ground, the country is hard and people are in severe pain but please enough of the transfer of aggression.
Periodically, netizens will say offensive things and when the victims rage, the offender gets defensive by saying it’s cruise or turning things to cruise! Cruise ? Your cruise perish with you if you think you can hurt people and disguise under cruise.

On a more serious note can we be more peaceful? We aren't liquid metals, are we?
Can we be more understanding?
Can we react with love?
Can we disagree without being acrimonious?
Can we be more credible while using the internet?
.
.
Now to you, my dear reader. What terrible experience have you had as as a netizen from other netizens who are Nigerians?
